Bijan is currently in charge of Typar Construction products. He has been with Berry Plastics for the past 25 years working in different technical capacities. He is responsible for building code requirements, designing and development of new construction products, training builders and architects on application of new and existing products and creating and teaching proper practice and installation of building envelope. He received his bachelor and master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering and is a member of the Air Barrier Association and ASTM.
The type of cladding material chosen for a project not only affects the building’s overall aesthetic, it also plays a central role in how the rest of wall system should be designed to best protect the structure from the elements.
