Michel Merkx
Michel Merkx is a Corporate Officer and Vice President/General Manager for the Global Tape Division of American Biltrite, Inc. Prior to his work at ABI Tape, Michel spent 16 years at Avery Dennison, working with pressure-sensitive labeling materials, retail tag, ticketing, branding systems and office products for both consumer and industrial markets. He brings extensive knowledge and expertise about pressure sensitive materials, production processes, labels and various market trends to his current role as the President of the Board of Directors for the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council.
The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council is the North American trade association for tape manufacturers and affiliate suppliers, dedicated to helping the industry produce quality pressure sensitive adhesive tape products in the global marketplace. PSTC provides education and training, works with ASTM and global trade organizations to harmonize test methods, and monitors legislative and regulatory activities.
