Have you nominated your projects for IIBEC’s new Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Award (EBEC)? The goal of this new IIBEC awards program is to elevate and highlight the value that building enclosure consultants bring to a project.

Project Excel is a mentorship program intended to benefit both mentors and mentees at any stage in their career by building social capital in terms of networking, the sharing of professional resources, assisting with career development opportunities, and to establish beneficial long-term professional relationships within the building enclosure profession.          

The award recognizes outstanding contributions by professionals, their collaborators, and their clients in support of the design, delivery, and advancement of building enclosure performance in the categories of roofing, exterior wall, waterproofing, building enclosure, and commissioning.

The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants announced its first class of CBECxP certification holders. The group of 15 individuals who had earlier applied for IIBEC’s new credential are now officially certified in building enclosure commissioning.
