Metsä Wood has developed a new wood wall panel solution that combines exceptional load-bearing capacity with material efficiency.

ATAS International introduced the newest panel series in their vast product offering at METALCON in Atlanta.

Specializing in home delivered organic and gourmet foods and signature varieties of organic milk and dairy products, Smith Brothers Farms needed a facility that could provide more cold storage space while meeting the company’s aesthetic goals.

To accommodate the growing need of services for the community, the city constructed a new 40,000-square-foot public safety building to house its central fire station, fire administration, police headquarters and municipal court. Zinc panels were an integral part of the design goals and ultimate success of the new facility.

Located in the Short North Arts District of Columbus, OH, is GreenHouse Short North, a new seven-story, mixed-use development with 158 units. The exterior features approximately 64,000 square feet of Omega-Lite® by Laminators Incorporated.

Available in smooth or stucco-embossed finishes and in a variety of durable colors, Thermolite panels add a highly decorative and resilient surface with excellent insulating properties. Panels can be fabricated on-site using standard carpentry tools or factory-cut to meet exact specifications.

A $14.5 million boost helped to build a new 25,000 square-foot innovation hub located in Houma, Louisiana – the first major expansion of LUMCON's research center that will help it continue fighting to preserve and defend Louisiana's eroding coast and wetlands.

Designers opted for a simple palette of materials that recalls classic mountain lodges, with masonry, wood timbers and architectural metal panels in a Corten-style finish that help create a sense of age, as though the park has been there for decades, despite its up-to-date features.

Award winners were announced by ATAS for their 2023 Project of the Year competition. There were seven award categories: commercial roofs, commercial walls, residential roofs, residential walls, accents, sustainable, and interiors.
