The submission site for the 2026 PCI Design Awards is now open. The PCI Design Awards program recognizes design excellence and construction quality using precast concrete.
Precast concrete project submissions will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. CT, Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Submittals are accepted in two primary categories: Buildings and Transportation Structures. In both primary categories, submitters can also choose to submit their projects to the Specials categories: All-Precast Concrete Solution Award, Building Information Modeling (BIM) Award, Harry H. Edwards Industry Advancement Award, Structural Innovation Award, and Sustainable Design Award.
Eligibility: The architect, precast concrete producer, owner, or engineer of record must submit entries. All projects must have been completed after January 1, 2023, and by August 31, 2025. Projects must have not already received a PCI Design Award. Previous Honorable Mentions may be resubmitted. This Special award is specifically intended to recognize exceptional structural achievements that demonstrate creativity and advancements in the precast concrete industry. Projects eligible for this award should highlight unique structural accomplishments, such as intricate frameworks, innovative concrete designs, or novel approaches to integrating mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Engineering solutions that demonstrate technical excellence and problem-solving capabilities are also key factors in consideration.
