The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) welcomes Bartlomiej Krol, P.E., as its new Managing Director, Quality Programs. He will be responsible for PCI’s quality programs, including certification activities for precast concrete plants, erectors, and personnel.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute,” Krol said. “I look forward to collaborating with everyone to foster innovation and leveraging our collective strengths for meaningful impacts.”
Before joining PCI, Krol was corporate quality control manager at County Prestress in Westmont, Ill., where he directed the quality control department, supervised and mentored the company’s quality control managers, and developed training materials for QC technicians. Before working at County Prestress, he was an engineer at Alta Vista Solutions in Richmond, Calif., where he was a consultant to the California Department of Transportation, and a design engineer at HNTB Corp. in Oakland, Calif. Krol has a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
