EYP Architecture & Engineering announced the promotion of Akshay Sangolli, AIA, ACHA, EDAC, LEED AP BD+C to Managing Principal of the firm’s Denver office and Debbie Fritz, AIA, LEED AP, CDT to Senior Project Director, Historic Preservation & Higher Ed in the firm’s Atlanta location. Linda Hamdan, PE, also joined the firm as Engineering Team Leader in the Boston office.
As Managing Principal, Akshay Sangolli leverages business development, operations, and design leadership teams to optimize performance while enhancing EYP’s external presence to clients, recruits, and the overall A/E industry. An AIA ‘best under 40’ winner, board-certified healthcare architect, and a leading force in planning and programming healthcare facilities, he has a strong drive for innovation and passion for working closely with clients and user groups in designing warm, engaging, and highly functional spaces.
Debbie Fritz joined EYP’s Atlanta office to lead the modernization group in the Southeast region. From iconic landmarks on college campuses to historic facilities at national parks, she has spent 18 of her last 25 years as an architect focused on the preservation and modernization of local, regional, university, and national heritage buildings, helping clients maximize their assets to improve functionality, performance, and aesthetics.
As Engineering Team Leader, Linda Hamdan leads engineering efforts in the firm’s Boston office and brings both a holistic approach and new perspective to EYP’s integrated design process. With a passion for growth and successful collaboration, her 15 years of specialized experience includes design and commissioning for major universities and designing and managing projects for energy plants and distributed energy systems for higher education, pharmaceutical, research and industrial clients.
