OSHA guidelines related to silica exposure in general industry are effective June 23, and the government agency has provided initial enforcement guidelines just in time. 

The U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) have signed an alliance to provide members, employers, and employees with information on how to properly select, use, maintain, and store personal protective and safety equipment.
