AIA Detroit is partnering with Albert Kahn Associates to offer two scholarships for the 2025 academic year. The scholarships are open to architecture students who are enrolled at a NAAB-accredited institution within the AIA Detroit chapter boundary or who have a permanent residence within Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, or Wayne counties.
The initiative aims to support women in their journey towards successful careers in the trades and contribute to the overall advancement of the construction industry.
Flex-Ability Concepts has awarded Tathiana Volpe-Ruiz with its University of Oklahoma (OU) scholarship program. This is the 24th year Flex-Ability Concepts has offered a scholarship to OU architectural students like Volpe-Ruiz.
The 120 scholarship recipients are undergraduates in their junior and senior years, majoring in architecture, civil/structural engineering or construction management/technology across the country.
Cy Jolliffe, of Independence, OH, was recently awarded an academic scholarship from The Garland Company, Inc. The scholarship will help defray expenses related to Jolliffe’s pursuit of a degree in Construction Management at The University of Akron.
