The Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) has named Bill Babich, P.E., and director of engineering for Alpine TrusSteel in Orlando, Fla. as the recipient of its 2015 Distinguished Service Award.

The California Preservation Foundation recently appointed Carolyn Searls, P.E., LEED AP, a senior principal and vice president at national engineering firm Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc.
