Fuller Dome Presents 90th Day Programs in Honor of Architect R. Buckminster Fuller

The Fuller Dome, Center for Spirituality and Sustainability at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is hosting a special series of programs from Thursday, March 27 to Monday, March 31 to honor the legacy of renowned visionary and SIUE professor R. Buckminster Fuller (1959-1975).
The event series will culminate on the 90th day of the year at the 90th meridian, aligning with Fuller’s global perspective on sustainability and innovation. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in architectural tours of historic domes, experience the critically acclaimed play “R. Buckminster Fuller: THE HISTORY (and Mystery) OF THE UNIVERSE,” and participate in hands-on activities inspired by Fuller’s work, such as:
- Fuller’s World Peace Game
- Activation of Fuller’s World Resource Simulation Center concept
- Live dance, music, and poetry performances within the iconic Fuller Dome
This immersive event series celebrates Fuller’s lasting impact on architecture, sustainability, and global problem-solving, bringing his revolutionary ideas to life for new generations.
