General contracting and construction management firm INTECH Construction announced the promotions of Colleen Mills, LEED GA, and Philip Rinaldi, LEED GA, to Associate Principal. Effective 1 January 2025, the promotions recognize their tenure and contributions to INTECH and its projects.
“Colleen and Phil have demonstrated incredible commitment to INTECH’s core values of safety, excellence, diversity, and community. We are proud to have them join the leadership team,” said INTECH President Phil Moses. “Colleen’s background in architecture gives her an invaluable perspective. She’s a critical thinker, capable of identifying and resolving project obstacles and motivating others to perform at the highest level. Phil specializes in complex renovation projects with tight timelines. His nimble approach and proficiency in scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project accounting lend comprehensive management to every project. Both have made – and will continue to make – lasting contributions to INTECH, our culture, and our projects. They are true ambassadors of INTECH to our clients.”
Colleen Mills joined INTECH as a senior project manager in 2018, was promoted to project director in 2022, and has led over $100 million in contracts for the commercial, hospitality, education, and multi-family residential markets. Mills is overseeing construction for a new U.S. Department of Energy lab at Princeton University, and she recently completed the 12-story Two Jackson Square Public Safety Headquarters in Jersey City, N.J., and the Hilton Garden Inn, Camden, N.J.’s first new hotel in a half-century. She also chairs the INTECH employee engagement committee. Mills holds an M.S. in Construction Management and a B.Arch. from Jefferson University, where she serves on the Construction Management Advisory Council and as an adjunct professor. She’s also an active member and chair of the communications committee of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Greater Philadelphia. Mills recently completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in North Carolina. She resides in Medford, N.J.
“It’s an honor to be selected as the next associate principal,” said Mills. “I’ve had a lot of support from exceptional mentors, and I continually work hard to be of merit to my colleagues and the company. In this position, I want to foster existing and build new relationships, make INTECH employees feel valued and engaged, and act as a perennial leader so that INTECH can be the best in the construction business.”
A third-generation construction professional, Phil Rinaldi joined INTECH in 2015 and was promoted to director of the renovations and interiors group in 2017. His leadership extends from estimating and budgeting to managing projects and personnel. He recently led the Moore College of Art and Design theater renovation, the Lyndon at the Curtis interior fit-out to add 23 luxury residences within an occupied historic building, and corporate office projects for Brandywine Global Investment Management, EwingCole, and Pennoni. Rinaldi sits on the INTECH diversity committee, which fosters equity across the company and its projects. He studied at the Academy of Computer Graphics and lives in Berlin, N.J.
“This promotion is a huge milestone for me. It’s exciting and rewarding to work hard and realize that others have noticed,” explained Rinaldi. “The ownership at INTECH has always been involved in projects and there to help employees. It’s a very supportive company. I look forward to carrying on that culture as a leader while expanding the renovations and interiors group.”
