FCA announces that Chris Parsley has joined the firm’s New York City corporate team as a senior design strategist. With over 15 years of professional experience in delivering both domestic and international projects, Chris brings a wealth of expertise to the corporate team. His extensive background includes work with professional services firms such as Troutman Pepper, King & Spalding, and McKinsey & Co. as well as technology companies including Yext and Uber.

"During the time I’ve worked with Chris, I've been consistently impressed by his innovative approach to design and his unwavering commitment to excellence,” says Buzz Riley, LEED AP, Principal at FCA. “His ability to seamlessly integrate functionality with aesthetic appeal has transformed every project we've collaborated on, making him an invaluable asset to any team."

Chris's passion for design started early. Before earning his Master’s in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati, he honed his skills in his family's millwork studio, crafting high-end residential, hospitality, and retail products, as well as unique furniture pieces. This experience sharpened his eye for detail and deepened his appreciation for design's everyday impact. Inspired by travel and diverse cultures, Chris enriches his work with fresh perspectives, always carrying a camera and sketchbook to capture beautiful moments.

"I’m eager to begin contributing to FCA’s innovative approach while helping to drive the next generation of design in the NYC region, " says Parsley. “In this new role, I look forward to utilizing my previous experience and collaborating with the team to create impactful, forward-thinking solutions that align with the firm’s mission to challenge the expected and deliver smart design."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris’ leadership shone when he spearheaded the design and execution of over 750,000 square feet of new office space for a Chicago-based law firm. With a vision focused on enhancing employee experience, welcoming teams back, and prioritizing their health and needs, the design featured multiple connecting stairways through stacks of practice and administration floors, facilitating free circulation. These connecting stairs highlighted social spaces, encouraging community among the staff.

The firm looks forward to seeing the meaningful contributions Chris will bring to FCA, fostering growth and continued excellence in the NYC region.
