The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) announced a new Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Award. The award, which replaces IIBEC’s long-running Document Competition, recognizes outstanding contributions by building enclosure professionals, their collaborators, and their clients in support of the design, delivery, and advancement of building enclosure performance in one or more of the categories of roofing, exterior wall, waterproofing, building enclosure, and commissioning.
 
 Nominations for the Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Award open August 1, 2023, via a new awards portal. Winners will be recognized during the Awards Luncheon at the 2024 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show, March 8–11, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona.
 
 “This new award shines a light on the outstanding work our consultant members are doing every day,” said IIBEC Executive Vice President and CEO Brian Pallasch. “I encourage all IIBEC members to submit nominations for the Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Award via our new awards portal.”
