As warnings about climate change reach new levels of urgency, solar and wind energy in the U.S. grew at the fastest rate ever last year. However, to reach renewable energy goals the solar industry will have to overcome massive employment problems.

The renewable energy industry is facing a critical skilled worker shortage with an expected 12 million new employees needed in the industry by 2050.

Building Enclosure was joined by Elizabeth Sanderson, Executive Director of Solar Energy International, to talk about how construction businesses can upskill employees to capitalize on the growth of the solar industry.
