KAI Build is excited to announce the hiring of Gyasi Haynes as its new Director of Project Management at its St. Louis office.   

With more than 20 years working in the industry starting as a Journeyman, Haynes has become a client-focused and innovative leader with extensive experience in logistics, procurement and quality assurance. As Project Director for KAI Build, Haynes will strategically prioritize, plan, coordinate and drive projects to ensure on-time, budget-compliant completion.

He is also extremely proficient at identifying cost-effective strategies to promote significant savings on a project, without compromising quality, schedule or safety. We are excited to have him as part of our team,” said KAI CEO Michael Kennedy, Jr.  

Prior to KAI, Haynes was Principal Owner of Haynes Living Construction where he developed and grew his contracting consulting firm offering project consulting and design/construction management services to commercial and residential customers. 

He also worked four years as Southeast USA Regional Project Manager for Enterprise Holdings of St. Louis. In this role, he was responsible for execution and completion of construction, design, ground-up and renovations of 44 airports and over 1,500 home city branches for Enterprise, National and Alamo brands. He led and managed 25 Junior Project Managers. 

Haynes also worked nine years at Loma Linda University Health as a Move Project Manager and Senior Construction Project Manager. Project experience included remodel of the university’s clinical labs, a new Barnes & Noble book store on campus and Cancer Center tenant improvements. 

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Project Management from University of Phoenix and an Associate of Science in Engineering Technology from Gwinnett Technical College. 

In 2013, he served as a volunteer consultant to help develop and execute a master plan for improvements to Mt. Rubidoux Seventh Day Adventist Church, plus led all construction projections. Additionally, he is an Executive Board Member for Annie Malone Children & Family Services. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, running, traveling and reading books.
