Sto Corp., the innovative world leader in facade claddings, air barriers, coatings, and renovation systems, recently formalized a new organizational structure for two of its key business units to respond to the anticipated growth in both areas – rainscreens and prefabrication. Along with the structural changes, Sto also announced the appointment of new leaders for both units.

Tyson Kindstrom, formerly vice president of marketing, is now vice president of the newly formed Industrialized Construction division of the company, which includes Sto Panel Technology. Sto Panel exterior wall panels combine the latest technology and proven products to deliver the most energy-efficient, architecturally versatile facades in the construction industry today, employing a process that saves time, adds value, and improves quality.

“Sto’s newly formed Industrialized Construction division underscores prefabrication’s growing impact on the construction industry, and with his deep industry knowledge and extensive experience at Sto, Tyson is the perfect person to lead this important business unit,” said Jose Berlingeri, president and CEO, Sto Corp. “Construction professionals of every kind realize the value proposition that prefabrication brings to the equation – design flexibility, greater efficiency, and cost predictability that contribute to a project’s bottom line. The use of prefabrication for exteriors and interiors; in panelized, volumetric, and new technologies such as 3D printing are set to grow in the years to come, and Sto is now positioned to respond to that growth.”
