Hoefer Wysocki announces the firm’s new name Hoefer Welker, effective Feb. 11, 2021. Hoefer Welker is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm headquartered in the Kansas City Metro. The change recognizes 25 years of success and planning for the future, as well as the years of hard work and leadership of President and Partner Rob Welker, who has been with the company since January 2008.

He’s become the face of the firm, serving as a trusted advisor and leader in every sense of the word. Hoefer Welker represents who we are as a company, honoring what we’ve built in the last 25 years and setting the tone for the next 25 years.”

Welker partnered with Hoefer for a number of years while working with a general contracting company before joining the firm as vice president of business development in 2008. He was named partner and shareholder in 2012, and in 2015 was promoted to president and joined the firm’s executive committee.

During Welker’s tenure, Hoefer Welker has expanded into multiple new markets and service lines. Welker has been a large part of the firm’s growth plan, helping to expand beyond its initial Midwestern footprint to projects nationwide and assisting in opening the firm’s Dallas location in 2015.
