EYP Architecture & Engineering announced that Regis Mitchom has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as senior project architect. In this role, Mitchom will ensure consistency of design ideas through interacting with the project management team and monitoring the design process from conception to construction administration.
With 30 years of industry experience, Mitchom brings extensive building information modeling (BIM), project and design architecture experience to his new role at EYP. Mitchom is already embodying EYP’s philosophy of Total Impact Design™ through his proactive approach in designing environments that have positive impacts on both people and the planet.

Prior to joining EYP, Mitchom was responsible for the implementation and operation of building information modeling for large-scale mixed-use projects for John Portman & Associates’ offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Shanghai, China. Some of Mitchom’s most notable projects include The New Wembley Stadium in London, the Yinchuan Greenland Center in China, and the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

Mitchom received his Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture.
