Mule-Hide Products Co. has added seven colors of 100 percent Silicone Roof Coating finish coat to its Silicone Roof Coating System, providing new options for creating beautiful, durable, low-maintenance roofs and ensuring crew safety.
Green, Charleston Green, Brown, Terra Cotta and Tinners Red give building owners a broad color palette to choose from when restoring metal roofs that are visible from ground level or other high-profile vantage points.
Safety Red and Safety Yellow can be used to create “warning tracks” around roof perimeters, skylights and other areas where fall protection is required.
Mule-Hide Products’ Silicone Roof Coating System can be used to restore and repair a wide variety of roofing substrates, delivering low-maintenance, watertight performance and significantly delaying the need for costly and disruptive tear-offs. The coatings can be applied to a wide array of roofing substrates, including metal, EPDM, TPO, aged PVC, aged acrylic coatings, concrete, asphalt built-up roofs, granulated modified bitumen roofs and new spray-applied polyurethane foam.
Low water absorption provides superior resistance to ponding water. A quick cure time makes same-day recoating possible. The system also controls damage caused by ultraviolet radiation, reduces thermal shock and seals water entry points.
The solvent-free formulas comply with volatile organic compound (VOC) regulations throughout North America.
The finish coats can be applied using a brush, roller or airless sprayer. In addition to the seven new colors, 100% Silicone Roof Coating is available in White, Gray, Tan and Black.
The new colors are sold in 5-gallon pails.
