EYP Architecture & Engineering announced the grand opening of the firm’s newest office in Austin, Texas. The new location aims to accommodate the firm’s rapid growth and tap into the area’s technology-focused talent pool.
In collaboration with existing locations in Dallas and Houston, the new office space provides EYP the ability to service more clients across the state of Texas. With the recent opening of a new EYP office in Denver, the firm is accelerating their expansion into new markets with vast business development opportunities. Current business opportunities in the Austin area align with all four of EYP’s sectors including higher education, healthcare, government and science and technology.
“The sheer amount of opportunity we’re seeing in Texas is the primary reason for this expansion,” said EYP project executive, Andy Albin, LEED AP. “The Austin region has provided us with the opportunity to further our commitment to top talent recruitment and pursue continuous innovation in our field.”
EYP has worked on many notable projects in Texas including the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Houston Methodist’s Paula and Joseph C. “Rusty” Walter III Tower. Additionally, EYP is the leading design firm for the Texas Medical Center, the largest, highest density urban medical center in the world.
“I’m very excited to champion the opening of the Austin office,” said Albin. “Austin is a diverse and growing city, and we’re lucky to have the opportunity to further expand our presence here. I’m looking forward to increasing our ability to further serve the state of Texas and its business communities.”
