EYP Architecture & Engineering, a global leader in total impact design, announced that Guillermo Andrade has been appointed as higher education technical director of the firm’s Houston office. In this position, Andrade will be responsible for advancing the overall technical quality of all higher education project related documents. Additionally, he will oversee the development and implementation of streamlined firmwide technical standards, conduct code reviews and interpretations, and contribute to the training and development of technical staff.
Andrade joins EYP with 33 years of industry experience. Notable projects include the Prairie View A&M Fabrication Facility, The University of Texas San Saba Hall, The University of Texas Benedict, Mezes and Batts Halls Renovation and Addition, Texas A&M Corps Dormitories Renovations Phase I, II, III and the Texas A&M University Animal Research Complex.

Andrade received his Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
