Mowery, a Mechanicsburg-based, industry leading construction company, is proud to announce plans to open a second office in June of 2018. The new office will be located at 284 West Market Street in York and is a result of continued growth in the company’s team and client base, and as a result of a desire to continue to be a part of the York community.
The new York, Pa. office is the first secondary office opened by Mowery under the ownership of David Cross. Mowery’s headquarters are located in Mechanicsburg. The York office offers a local location and added flexibility for both Mowery team members and clients who live or work in or near York.
“York is important to me personally and to Mowery as a company,” said David Cross, president of Mowery. “I live in York. I’ve supported the economic development of this community through my time with the Redevelopment Authority of the City of York (RDA), and now I’m making a personal commitment by investing in the downtown community.”
The new Mowery office will be located in the downtown York building that formerly served as the New Grounds Roasting Co. The building was purchased by David Cross and Julie Lando-Cross, owner of GRIT Marketing Group, through their development company CBKPP LLC. Through CBKPP LLC, more than $500,000 has been invested in the acquisition and renovation of the building. A separate portion of the building will also serve as home to the new office of GRIT Marketing Group, which was previously announced in January of 2018.
“This is an exciting time both personally and as a developer, investing in the community I am dedicated to, and for Mowery as a company, which has seen about a 60 percent increase in revenue over the past year,” said David Cross. “The opening of an office in York is a win-win for everyone involved and it prepares Mowery for continued growth.”
Mowery’s new 1,200-square-foot office space is anticipated to open in June of 2018. The company’s headquarters will remain in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
“I’m proud of this investment into the city of York,” adds David Cross. “The Mowery team is looking forward to officially being a part of the downtown York community.”
