Hosam Habib, AIA, has been promoted to Principal, Director of Design at interdisciplinary architecture and design firm, Hoefer Wysocki, announced by the firm’s President, Rob Welker.
Possessing a passion for design excellence and an understanding of the overall process, Hosam has more than 25 years of experience in the design of high-performing and award-winning healthcare and higher education facilities. As Principal, his focus will remain in the design of monumental and meaningful projects in these sectors.
“Hosam partners with clients and project teams to articulate and realize the design vision for healthcare and higher education architectural projects,” says Welker. “His passion for design and attention to detail results in facilities that energize, inspire and heal.”
“It is a true honor to be entrusted with the design of our client’s projects. Mentoring our emerging professionals is another incredible aspect of my role as design director,” Habib said.
Habib serves on the Healthcare Committee Board for the AIA Kansas City; is a member of the Society of Egyptian Architects, The International Union of Architects and American Institute of Architects. He received his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture from Cairo University.
His portfolio includes the award-winning Northland Innovation Center – a progressive educational setting for primary, secondary and post-secondary students and faculty. He is also leading the design of the Kansas State University’s Hale Library Commons, expected to be completed later this year.
