Chem Link, formulator and manufacturer of high-performance adhesives, sealants, coatings and related products for application throughout the building envelope, announces the new 5-inch E-Curb penetration seal system, the newest size offering in the full E-Curb line of products. Designed to better fit contractor needs, lighter-weight E-Curbs feature interlocking “slip-fit technology,” which allows for quick assembly and easy installation.

“We’ve seen significant growth in the solar industry for a need for a 5-inch E-Curb,” said Jeff Piotrowicz, product manager, Chem Link. “Additionally, this new size allows greater flexibility for our contractors to create a durable, waterproof rubber seal around penetrations and extends our current E-Curb offering for steep slope roofs.”

E-Curbs are designed for use on granulated modified bitumen, asphalt and coal tar built-up roofing applications, as well as PVC, PIB and TPO single-ply roofing membranes. All E-Curb kits come with gloves 1-Part Pourable Sealant and M-1 Adhesive/Sealant to complete the job.

Additionally, all E-Curbs offer:

•    Excellent adhesion to most roofing materials
•    No flashing or mechanical attachment required
•    Service temperatures ranging from -40 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 93 degrees Celsius)
