Carrier Johnson + CULTURE announced the addition of architect J.K. Lim to its roster of veteran designers and its expanding Los Angeles practice.
Bringing with him more than 25 years of professional project experience in design and project management in the multi-family residential, mixed-use, and commercial sectors, Lim joins Carrier Johnson + CULTURE as a senior project manager. The majority of Lim's considerable experience in the architecture profession has been in senior project management roles, though he has also served as designer, senior project architect, and principal.
"Aside from being incredibly personable and humorous, which makes him a guy that everyone loves working with, J.K. is a natural collaborator and communicator," says Kyle Peterson, director with Carrier Johnson + CULTURE in Los Angeles. "His aptitude for coordinating diverse teams at all levels consistently produces results that exceed client expectations and improve outcomes for owners and communities."
Peterson adds, "His technical knowledge, thorough comprehension of the design process, and interpersonal skills are going to be huge assets for us, and for our clients."
A California registered architect, Lim is a graduate of the University of Southern California's prestigious and highly competitive Masters of Architecture program. His fluency in Mandarin is yet another critical skill he brings to the table.
