Local architects, engineers, contractors and facility managers joined Sika Corporation, a leading producer of Construction and Industry products, at the Old Red Museum on Oct. 7th, 2015 for an afternoon of networking and education.
At DFW 365, keynote speaker, Roger Staubach, NFL Hall of Famer and Executive Chairman at Jones Lang LaSalle, gave an inspirational address sharing how leadership and teamwork is integral to both personal and professional success.
Guest speaker Cliff Brewis, Vice President Editorial Operations at Dodge Data and Analytics spoke on the construction economy and trends in the DFW-metro area. He explained that large projects continue to fill the DFW construction pipeline and economic fundamentals remain healthy.
During the event, Christoph Ganz, President & CEO Sika North America, announced exciting news that Sika would break ground in Houston, Texas for a new facility in 2016.
“DFW 365 is just the beginning of an exciting time for us in the area. We are excited to be deeply involved in this growing and vibrant market,” explained Jay Thomas, VP Marketing Roofing and Flooring for Sika. “We’ve supported some of the most important projects in Texas including the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi and the American Airlines Center in Dallas. We are looking forward to future projects with this growing community, especially as we break ground in Houston.”
The theme of DFW 365 was centered on Sika’s new Every Day brand campaign, launched earlier this year. Sika products are all around you every day, from adhesive and sound masking technology in the cars we drive, to the concrete additives in the roads and bridges we drive on to the construction products that protect our homes and work places. Sika impacts your world in unseen ways, every day.
