Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. announced the opening of its Houston, Texas office. From Houston, SGH will provide its full range of structural and building technology services, with special emphasis on risk assessment and design associated with blast, seismic, hurricane, and other hazards for the petrochemical industry.
Paul Summers, Senior Principal; Guzhao Li, Staff Consultant; and Zonglei Mu, Senior Project Manager, have joined SGH in Houston. Summers, Li, and Mu offer extensive experience consulting for petroleum and chemical companies as well as contractors and architecture/engineering firms working in the petrochemical industry. SGH will add other staff and leadership in Houston this year from its other offices to offer the firm’s full range of services for designing, investigating, and rehabilitating structures, building enclosures, and materials.
