PLEASANTON, Calif. — For the past several decades, Simpson Strong-Tie has offered relevant and up-to-date educational courses to help improve product specification and installation as well as reduce the cost of construction. Now, the company announced that it has been approved as a provider of Learning Units for Health Safety and Welfare credits (LU/HSW) by the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA/CES).
Simpson Strong-Tie offers nine free online courses for architects to earn LU/HSW credits, including Understanding Moment Frames, High-Wind Design, Seismic Design and Shear-Wall Design for Wood-Framed Construction. The company is also accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
