PHILADELPHIA — BLT Architects announced today the hiring of Controller David Monahan and Design Staff Members Christopher J. Class and Barry M. McIntyre.
Monahan had worked since 2007 as controller at Brandywine Global Investment Management in Philadelphia, where he led a six-member accounting department. He previously was assistant controller at the company and before that was accounting manager for Allient. A resident of Philadelphia, Monahan holds an MBA in accounting from St. Joseph’s University and a B.A. in political science from La Salle University. He obtained CMA certification in 2011. He is the board treasurer of the Good Shepherd Mediation Program, which is Philadelphia’s largest non-profit mediation and neighborhood justice center.
Class is a December 2012 graduate of Philadelphia University, with a B.A. in architecture. The Philadelphia resident interned at Fishtank PHL, LLC.
McIntyre is a June 2012 graduate of Drexel University and interned at Richard W. Thom, AIA and for Stuart G. Rosenberg Architects.
