PATERSON, N.J. — Oldcastle, Inc. was honored by Paterson Habitat for Humanity as the 2011 Corporate Partner of the Year at the organization’s Annual Dinner on April 11, 2012. Habitat’s executive committee and volunteers unanimously chose Oldcastle for this prestigious award.

Oldcastle was much more than a sponsor who financed the cost of building the house. Throughout the summer of 2011, more than 150 employees from Oldcastle’s local operating companies; Tilcon New York, Tilcon New Jersey, Allied Building Products, Anchor Concrete Products, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope™, Oldcastle Precast and Meadow Burke supplied more than 1,200 hours of labor and sweat equity to build the three story home.

The company also made a significant donation of products to the construction of the home including blocks and mortar, ready mixed concrete, pavers, retaining walls, dry wall, windows, doors and roofing materials.

Congratulations to Oldcastle and everyone who was instrumental in completing the Habitat home which was dedicated on Nov. 19, 2011 to the Nyenapo family just in time for the holidays.
