MBCI recently introduced its photovoltaic solutions to the marketplace. MBCI offers two different photovoltaic systems. The first is a rigid glass-based polycrystalline silicon module which can be installed on standing seam metal roofs using a non-penetrating clamp that mechanically attaches to the seam. The second offering is flexible thin film which is typically adhered to the metal roof panel in a factory environment, allowing the photovoltaic array to be installed as the roof panels are installed. Existing and new metal roofs make ideal substrates for PV systems because they can be installed without penetrations of the metal roof panel.
