CHICAGO— The 29th annual Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) trade show is set to take place Jan. 19-20 at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.

According to the association, Trade Show Chairmen Tony Roque and Fred Creed, as well as committee members Greg Dedic, Tyson Everett, Dave Hamill, Greg Johnson, Rod Petrick, Ron Quimby and Ross Ridder, have helped make the CRCA show a venue where roofing and waterproofing contractors can expand their knowledge in technology, safety, products and service enhancements.

“This year’s show is also an important venue for architects, specifiers, engineers, roof consultants as well as building owners/engineers and building code and fire officials for navigating the latest in roofing, energy and green code requirements, plus systems technology advancements that affect the final product delivered to the end user — a roof for the building owner,” said Bruce Diederich, president of CRCA.

The educational programming of this year’s show will focus on key factors affecting the industry, including code and technology. Seminars available Thursday afternoon include “Science & Compliance” and “The Law of Compliance.” Friday’s seminars start with an important safety seminar for roofing company owners and field personnel.
