DALLAS - Lionel Morrison, FAIA, Mark Dilworth, AIA, LEED AP and Cari Walls, LEED AP, announced the formation of their new partnership and architectural design firm, Morrison Dilworth and Walls.

The combined work of the founding partners has had a significant impact on the City of Dallas. Morrison is responsible for the design of One Arts Plaza and Dilworth, the design of the expansion of NorthPark Center; both among Dallas' most recognizable icons.

The three partners all began their architectural careers at the same Dallas-based firm, Omniplan, Dilworth most recently as its CEO and Design Director and Cari Walls as his partner, serving as the principal leadership for the firms' interior practice.

Morrison left the firm to begin Morrison Seifert Murphy, an internationally acclaimed practice he led with two partners for more than 22 years. Their careers have produced a broad portfolio of award-winning and highly–acclaimed projects in the residential, retail, and commercial markets. Their work has been widely published in books and magazines in the United States and around the world.

The practice allows the partners to extend their design capabilities and strengthen their presence in core markets. Morrison Dilworth and Walls’ work (www.mdwstudio.com) is diverse in type, scale and location and ranges from new construction, expansions and master plans. Clients are principally commercial and private and building types include office, mixed-use, retail and residential.

Currently, the firm is engaged in a variety of design projects at NorthPark Center in Dallas, is in the planning stages for ArtHouse II and is a part of the design team for the renovation of the World Financial Center in New York City.
