To help architects and design engineers overcome problems with roof garden installation, water leakage and root penetration, Dow Hyperlast has introduced VERDISEAL Green Roof Waterproofing System.
Comprised of a primer, elastomeric membrane and robust wear coat, VERDISEAL balances economic high performance with flexibility in installation and use. Choosing a suitable waterproofing system for garden roofs is a major challenge for architects and specifiers. With VERDISEAL - thanks to the system’s monolithic, seamless quality - the design possibilities are unlimited. VERDISEAL can be easily applied onto complex shapes and adheres evenly to flat and horizontal surfaces, as well as combinations of levels and undulations. The 2mm/80 mils-thick seamless membrane keeps the surface sealed, protecting against water leakage, mineral residue leaching, garden chemicals and oil spillages, and resisting root penetration. Any damage can be repaired locally, without removing the whole membrane, to minimize replacement and disposal costs. For more information, visit www.dowhyperlast.com and www.verdiseal.com.
