Duro-Last Inc. announced the opening of their sixth manufacturing facility, located in Ludlow, Mass. A Grand Opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the new facility on Tuesday, June 20th. Members of the Duro-Last Board of Directors and leadership team welcomed over 150 local contractors and stakeholders to the event, providing tours and networking over lunch.

Massachusetts State Representative Thomas M. Petrolati also attended, presenting Duro-Last with an official proclamation of congratulations and welcome on behalf of the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

“This impressive new facility underscores Duro-Last’s dedication to investing in ways to enhance our customers’ experience with us,” said CEO Tom Saeli. “We are proud to expand access to industry-leading products and services to the Northeast region, and would like to thank our customers whose loyalty and support have made this investment in Ludlow, Massachusetts possible.”

The 60,000-square-foot facility manufactures custom-fabricated roofing membranes and accessories for Duro-Last, and services the Northeast customer base. Approximately 20 new jobs have been created as a result of the expansion, and additional positions may become available as demand in the region grows.
