Architectural Glass

PPG Industries will unveil two new architectural glasses at the 2012 AIA along with a new DURANAR(R) powder coating for metal roof applications. One of the new glass products will introduce is a passive-solar, low-emissivity (low-e) glass with improved U-values that is engineered for commercial buildings in heating-dominated climates. The other is a self-cleaning glass designed for skylights, canopies and other sloped glazings on commercial buildings. The company also will exhibit a new Duranar powder coating for metal roofs that is designed as a more durable alternative to traditional stone-coated steel roofing systems.
